Our Activities

Basic Activities of DRST

To bring the vision of Dharma Rakshana Samithi Trust (DRST) into reality, its primary activities focus on rural areas, aiming to rediscover and reveal the core elements of Sanatana Dharma (Hindu Dharma) through Bharateeya culture. These activities are thoughtfully designed to empower people of all walks of life—from students to devotees and common people—by involving them in cultural forms and events conducted during auspicious occasions and Hindu festivals. This creates a sense of pride and confidence in the protection and propagation of Hindu Dharma, fostering a cultural renaissance among people.

Swami Dayananda Saraswati’s View:

Swami Dayananda Saraswati emphasized that spiritual culture permeates every aspect of our lives and is reflected in our cultural forms, which express the spiritual wisdom derived from our traditions. In contrast to the modern world, where people are often overwhelmed by choices, Swamiji stressed the importance of nurturing children with a cognitive structure that helps them make responsible decisions rooted in spiritual wisdom.

Every Child Should Know the Native Cultural Forms and Heritage:

Swami Dayananda Saraswati advocated that every Indian, regardless of their religious background, should understand and respect the native cultural heritage of Bharat. This is essential for fostering harmony and preventing estrangement from the mainstream cultural practices that bind the people together.
